Deputy Nurse Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week - including 12 hours clinical
Hourly Rate: £24
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team at a reputable nursing home. The Deputy Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to the residents and provide leadership and support to the nursing staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for providing person-centred care.
What We’re Looking For
Active registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in nursing care
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of resident care and safety
Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and legislation pertaining to the healthcare industry

Responsibilities
Assisting the Nurse Manager in the overall management and supervision of the nursing team
Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff
Ensuring that care plans are accurately maintained and implemented in accordance with residents' needs
Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as necessary
Overseeing medication management and administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote a holistic approach to resident care
Participating in staff training, development, and performance management
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
