Deputy Nurse Manager
Salary: £51,500
Hours: 41 hours per week (including 18 supernumerary hours)
Our client, a well beautiful nursing home providing high-quality care for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs, is seeking a Deputy Nurse Manager to join their dedicated team. With a Good CQC rating, this service is committed to ensuring a warm, supportive environment where residents receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse-qualified professional with leadership experience to step into a key management position. Working closely with the management team, the Deputy Nurse Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and operational efficiency within the service.
Who We’re Looking For
A Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) with experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding of dementia and general nursing care and best practices within a nursing home setting.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
A compassionate and proactive leader who can inspire and support a team to deliver outstanding care.
A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.
Support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring dignity, respect, and compassion remain at the heart of all practices.
Lead and support staff with training, development, and revalidation processes.
Manage clinical governance and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals to enhance the quality of care.
