Our client is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership of a vibrant, well-resourced nursery that offers spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments designed to inspire, engage, and nurture young minds.

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery and uphold the highest standards of care and education. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and support a team in delivering an enriching early years experience for every child.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (minimum)

  • Proven experience in a senior role within an early years setting

  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

  • A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative

  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional early years care and education

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management and daily operations of the setting

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the nursery team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality childcare and education

  • Assist in planning and implementing a creative and stimulating curriculum aligned with EYFS principles

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare policies are fully embedded and followed

  • Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices and the learning environment

  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation, inspection frameworks, and early years best practices
