Salary: £31,500

Hours: 45 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to support our client’s nursery in providing high-quality care and education for children. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of early years education.

The nursery has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and are proud of their commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child. Each age group benefits from its own specially designed room and dedicated outdoor play area to inspire curiosity, creativity, and learning through play.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years

• Solid experience in a childcare setting; leadership or management experience is a plus

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and current childcare regulations

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

• A true passion for delivering exceptional care and education

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery

• Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursery staff

• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children

• Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and support their children's development

• Contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging and educational activities for children
