Salary: Up to £31,200 (based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of our client’s vibrant and nurturing nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and education, while leading and inspiring a team.
As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained across the setting. You will play a key role in staff supervision, curriculum planning, and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
A Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role within an early years setting.
A thorough understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare and supporting team development.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Nursery Manager in leading the staff team and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and professional environment.
Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide high-quality care and education to all children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence.
Monitor staff performance, support ongoing training and development, and contribute to team appraisals.
Maintain accurate records, including observations, assessments, and safeguarding documentation.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
