Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team! As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high quality care and education for young children.

What We’re Looking

• Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification

• Previous experience working in a childcare setting, with proven leadership skills

• Strong knowledge of child development and early years curriculum

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Understanding of and commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nursery Manager in managing the nursery team and overseeing daily operations

• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children

• Support staff in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and experiences

• Develop positive relationships with families and engage them in their children's learning and development

• Implement and maintain nursery policies and procedures

• Contribute to staff training and development

• Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
