Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a Deputy Room Leader to join our client’s dynamic team at their beautiful nursery. As a Deputy Room Leader, you will assist in delivering high-quality care and education to young children, while also supporting the Room Leader in daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years.

• Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• A passionate and nurturing approach to working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Room Leader in planning and implementing activities that promote the children's development and learning.

• Support the team in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.

• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure open communication and collaboration.

• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child's day.

• Contribute to the overall management of the room, including organizing resources and maintaining a tidy and welcoming space.
