Deputy Team Leader

We're looking for a proactive Deputy to support the Team Leader with day-to-day operation of a busy production environmentfor a 1 year contract covering maternity leave. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production who is looking to upskill themselves & take the first steps in managing staff. 

The Role: -
You will assist with the smooth running of the department, helping to maintain quality, efficiency, and workplace standards while also carrying out hands-on production duties.

Key responsibilities include: -

Supporting daily operations and workflow.
Conducting WIP checks and assisting with stock counts.
Reviewing quality control documentation.
Monitoring consumables and reporting shortages.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
Supporting continuous improvement activities.
Providing supervisory cover during absences.
Overseeing overtime activities when required.

What We're Looking For: -

Experience within a production or factory environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to priorities workloads and work independently.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards is advantageous.

Working hours: -

Rotating shifts, Monday-Friday: -

6:00am 2:00pm
2:00pm 10:00pm
