Location: Rothwell
Salary: £150-£230 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Long Term Futures are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Rothwell to appoint a dedicated DT and Computer Science Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community, supportive leadership, and high expectations for both staff and students.

• Teach Design Technology and Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that encourage creativity and problem-solving

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies

• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs and activities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification

• Experience teaching DT and/or Computer Science up to GCSE level

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting practical, hands-on learning

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
