Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply

Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day

Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Croydon. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you may teach across D&T, Food Technology and Art, depending on your specialism and experience. You will plan and deliver engaging practical lessons, assess student progress and encourage creativity, problem-solving and technical skills. The ideal Design & Technology Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons.
* Teach D&T, Food Technology and/or Art according to your specialism.
* Develop students' practical, creative and technical skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress.
* Promote safe and effective use of practical equipment and resources.

Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS certification.
* PGCE or equivalent qualification.
* Experience teaching D&T, Food Technology and/or Art.
* Passion for practical and creative education.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
