  About the Role:
  
  
  • Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially specializing in one or more areas such as product design, engineering, or food technology based on your expertise.
  
  
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs, experiment with materials, and utilize modern manufacturing techniques.
  
  
  • Assess student progress through project work, design portfolios, and practical assessments, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
  
  
  • Contribute to the development of the design and technology curriculum and participate in extracurricular design clubs and competitions.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Ideal Candidate:
  
  
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related field.
  
  
  • A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and current technologies relevant to your specialism.
  
  
  • Proficiency in relevant software and experience with workshop equipment.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
