Responsibilities

• Teach DT across KS3, KS4, and KS5, covering product design, engineering, and resistant materials


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level coursework, encouraging creative and technical excellence


• Integrate digital design tools, sustainability principles, and modern fabrication techniques into lessons


• Work collaboratively to refine and develop the DT curriculum


• Support extracurricular activities such as robotics clubs, design fairs, and enterprise competitions

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field


• PGCE or QTS


• Experience teaching DT up to KS5
