The Role

Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework, NEA, and project work
Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills across a range of materials
Maintaining high standards of health and safety within workshops
Working collaboratively within a well-resourced and supportive DT department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms
High expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and achievement
A professional, organised, and positive approach to teaching
