The Role:
Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with a love of design and making, and equipping them with the skills to create, innovate, and solve problems.
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching Design & Technology curriculum that fosters creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of design principles and processes.
Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading design clubs, organizing workshops and competitions, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
Candidate Profile:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Design & Technology education.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes across a range of disciplines, including product design, textiles, and graphics.
Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's ethos and values.
