We are looking for an experienced Design & Technology Teacher to start in April at our innovative secondary school in Sutton Coldfield. As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will inspire students with practical, hands-on lessons that encourage creativity and critical thinking. You will play a key role in helping students develop their understanding of design, technology, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities of the Design & Technology Teacher include:

• Delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.


• Designing and implementing practical Design & Technology projects.


• Offering students constructive feedback and supporting their development in Design & Technology.


• Collaborating with colleagues to improve and innovate the Design & Technology curriculum.

We are looking for a Design & Technology Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent.


• Has a strong passion for Design & Technology and hands-on learning.


• Has experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school environment.


• Can integrate educational technology effectively into Design & Technology lessons.
