As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students' practical skills and creative problem-solving abilities, while fostering a passion for design and innovation.

Design & Technology Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and dynamic Design & Technology lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5


• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback


• Cultivate a positive and productive classroom environment


• Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and lesson plans


• Encourage participation in design and technology competitions, projects, and extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• A strong passion for Design & Technology and practical teaching methods


• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children


• Previous experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
