Job Overview

An opportunity for an experienced Architect to lead education sector projects across RIBA Stages 1 to 3 within an established architectural practice in Gloucester. The role focuses on early-stage design leadership, concept development and client engagement across schools, colleges and higher education projects. Suitable for a design-focused Architect with education sector experience and strong presentation skills.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead education projects across RIBA Stages 1 to 3

* Develop design concepts and spatial strategies

* Coordinate with clients and consultants

* Lead design workshops and presentations

* Support junior team members

The role focuses on early-stage design leadership and maintaining design quality through concept and planning stages.

Skills & Experience Required

* ARB registered Architect

* Education sector project experience

* Strong concept and presentation skills

* Knowledge of DfE guidance and standards

* Collaborative team leadership approach

Experience across schools, colleges or university projects is required alongside strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
