Job Title: Design Draughtsperson

An established engineering company in Aberdeen, known for delivering bespoke harsh environment solutions, is looking for an experienced Design Draughtsperson to join their team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the engineering function by producing accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and or Autocad. You’ll be responsible for transforming initial design concepts into fully manufacturable drafts, working closely with engineers and other departments throughout the product development lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models
• Prepare technical documentation to support manufacturing and production
• Translate conceptual designs into accurate and practical drafts
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other teams
• Ensure all drawings meet project, quality, and compliance standards

• Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson in an engineering environment
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (essential)
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting and manufacturing principles
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative working style
• Experience in subsea or harsh environment equipment (advantageous but not essential)
