Up to £45,000 DOE

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer for our client located in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.

The ideal Design Engineer will be enthusiastic about using their skills and expertise in a forward-thinking environment, key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
• Oversee design projects from concept to production.
• Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve efficiency and functionality through design layouts.
• Site visits (including overnight stays).

The successful Design Engineer should have excellent communication and teamwork skills and have the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or similar.
• Experience with 3D modelling and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• 20 days holiday + BH
