Are you a design engineer, with experience in the Automotive industry, looking to join a well-established company that offers an early finish on a Friday?

This company was established just under four decades ago and since then has grown to helping major OEM's like Mclaren in their transport solutions. The company design, manufacture and install bespoke commercial vehicle bodies for a range of clients across the nation.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to conceptualise the initial plans for projects and work with the manufacturing team to create build manuals for clients to use. You will be working in a design of one other to create models and renderings for the projects.

The Role:

• 7 - 4 Monday - Thursday 7 - 1:15 Friday
• Work in a design team of one other to create models and renderings of projects
• Be involved in the initial conceptualising of projects, liaising with the client to ensure needs are met
• Produce build manuals for clients so they have a full understanding of their products
• Regularly update designs based on client feedback and ensure all products follow industry standards
• Attend interdepartmental project meetings so that there is coordination between teams on projects

The Person:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Experience in a design engineer role
