Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify low-carbon heating systems (e.g., heat pumps, underfloor heating, ventilation)
• Create 2D CAD drawings and technical documentation
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions
• Prepare technical quotations to a high standard
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations (Building Regs, MCS)
• Provide technical support to customers and sales colleagues
• Identify components and innovative solutions with suppliers

Skills & Experience

You may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience in mechanical, plumbing or heating system design
• Background in the renewables sector
• CAD design experience
• Familiarity with heat pump systems, hydraulic design, or BPEC Level 3
• Knowledge of Building Regulations (Part L, F, O), MCS standards (MIS3005)

• HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Heating Engineering

You’ll also bring:

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Competent in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong team player with initiative and adaptability
