We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for a professional who is skilled in utilising CAD software and has a strong background in civil and structural engineering.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Compliance: Adhere to British Standards (BS EN 13155, BS EN 13001) in design processes.
• Design: Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Analysis: Conduct structural analyses using STAAD.Pro.
• Oversight: Manage project budgets and specifications to meet objectives.
• Collaboration: Work with team members and departments to enhance communication and execution.
• Support: Generate documentation and provide technical support for project completion.
• Innovation: Engage in R&D to improve design techniques and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Steel Design
• Proficiency in CAD software tools and a strong ability to carry out 3D modelling.
• Knowledge of structural analysis software, with a willingness to undergo further training on STAAD.Pro.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
