Are you a creative and innovative Design Engineer looking to make your mark in the world of cable containment products? Our client is on the lookout for a talented individual to join their dynamic team! If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the skills to bring ideas to life, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new products while revamping existing ranges.

• Utilise 3D CAD software to create intricate models and production drawings.

• Collaborate with marketing to produce engaging materials showcasing our products.

• Populate product data for part codes and bills of materials (BOM).

• Organise the production of prototypes and conduct thorough testing.

• Create loading information and tables to ensure product effectiveness.

• Work hand-in-hand with the production team to ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing.

• Troubleshoot production issues and find innovative solutions.

• Design customer specials, providing associated technical information.

• Assist in product training sessions and CAM programming.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Design experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.

• Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with team members and external partners alike.
