Are you an experienced Design Engineer with a background in mechanical or civil engineering, equipment/product design, or bespoke projects?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering business where you'll work across product improvement projects and bespoke designs. You'll take ownership of design tasks, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver practical solutions that meet technical, safety, and commercial requirements.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a hands-on role producing CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering calculations, and is looking to broaden their technical expertise.

The Role:

• Produce design calculations, CAD drawings (AutoCAD/3D Inventor), layouts, and detailed specifications

• Review project data, specifications, and drawings to establish engineering objectives
• Prepare and update drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for manufacturing and installation
• Attend project meetings, liaise with clients and suppliers, and support technical manuals/documentation

The Person:

• HNC or above in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Proven background in design engineering, product/equipment design with strong CAD experience
