Design Engineer

Role – Design engineer
Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time – office hours
Capacity of role – Permanent
Salary – Up to £42,000 per annum

Our client is currently recruiting for a design engineer to join their busy drawing team. Applicants will have worked in a similar position previously and will be conversant with designing working with 3D packages.

Main duties will include -
 To assist with the continued implementation of Autodesk Inventor 3D and Vault Professional within the Engineering & Design Team.
 Creating bill of materials for production process
 To be involved in continuous improvement techniques, lean initiatives and other activities to improve the overall efficiency of the Company, including via ISO 9001 accreditation.
 To utilise best practice and ensure that all designs eliminate hazards and reduce risks, as far as is reasonably practicable.
 To assist change and develop more efficient processes within the Engineering & Design team

Candidate attributes -
 Experience within manufacturing business
 Autodesk Inventor 3D, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software and AutoCAD experience.
 Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
 Desirable – Degree/HND in an engineering/manufacturing qualification or equivalent work experience in a related role.
