Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop bespoke machinery solutions.
Utilise your expertise in 3D CAD software to create detailed designs, technical drawings and models.
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the manufacturing and assembly phases.
Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of the machinery.
Ensure design precision and compliance with GD&T standards.
Perform detailed calculations and FEA to validate design performance.
Engage in R&D initiatives, contributing to new product development and improvements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing of special purpose machinery or a related engineering sector.
Proficiency in in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX) to create complex designs and assemblies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
