Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an busy, rapidly growing company, where you will be working on bespoke products within specialist industries, with the opportunity to grow and progress through the business into more senior roles?
Do you have experience in Mechanical Engineering, using AutoCAD? Are you looking to extend your knowledge, train and progress with a business?

The company itself are worldwide, well-established, are now part of a group, specialising in inspection equipment, gauges and gears for the automotive sector. However, with their continued growth, they look to expand their reach to multiple sectors, including aerospace, motorsport and medical sectors.
In this role you will predominantly be responsible for using AutoCAD and AutoDesk software to execute the whole design process. However, this is a multi-skilled role where you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to quality, costing and customer service to progress the business as a collective.
The ideal candidate will have a good Mechanical Engineering background with relevant qualifications, ideally within the automotive industry, and will have a good understanding of AutoCAD, design and various software. You will also be motivated to learn and progress, contributing to the team wherever you can. The Role
Full design process using AutoCAD and AutoDesk
Contributing to costing and quality standards
Organise projects to meet customer needs
Liaise with different teams within the business to learn and progress.

The Person
Mechanical Engineering degree/qualification
Experience with AutoCAD/Design software
Willingness to learn and progress
Automotive industry experience preferred
