Are you an experienced electrical design professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking a Design Manager to lead and develop a multi-skilled team, ensuring the successful delivery of detailed designs across all workstream areas.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and mentor a growing team of design engineers and technicians
• Enhance and implement robust design procedures to reduce risk and liability
• Strengthen design capabilities through training, competence, and resource management
• Develop and maintain design standards, specifications, and guidance documents
• Oversee external design frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Support operational teams with expert design solutions

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience: Strong knowledge of 11kV to 132kV (E)HV networks & substations, including switchgear, transformers, underground circuits, earthing, and protection
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of electricity distribution and private network interactions
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
