Fourblue have partnered up with an ICP, offering full turnkey solutions for sustainable solutions at a commercial and grid scale level from low voltage (LV) up to 132kV (HV).

Our client is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design team, ensuring that works are completed to a high standard and in line with regulations and client / DNO specification.

Your responsibilities as a Design Manager:

Lead the design team and process to suit both needs of the business and compliance with relevant regulations and requirements
Complete audits and input into quality assurance on new and existing facilities to ensure installations are in line with both the design intent and best practices
Lead the design team in verification, validation, and certification of all designs
Liaise with commercial on scope specification and context for design
Manage design registers and design submissions, acting as reference/escalation point for queries from IDNO/DNO
Ensure proper engineering rigour on designs for safety for LV - 132KV projects
Building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring positive commercial outcomes for all parties

To be successful as a Design Manager, you will need:

Previous experience supporting a design team within a ICP/DNO
Technical understanding of design and pricing within MV/HV work is essential
Clear Understanding of HV (high voltage) networks from LV (low voltage) up to 132kV
UK driver’s license
Experience working with an ICP / DNO / IDNO
