Design Manager

Job Description

Our client are a reputable main contractor who are looking for a Freelance Design Manager to work on cladding replacement projects across the UK. This will be a site based role from Leeds.

Contract duration-

6 months minimum

Rate-

Negotiable

Location - Leeds

Ideal candidate:
Experience working on cladding projects is desired
Experience working student accommodation, hotels or apartment schemes is preferable
Ambitious and motivated work attitude

Duties will include:
Managing all design activity through to completion of the projects.
Advising and supporting the client, commercial and project teams on the risks/ opportunity with the development of the building design.
Managing the design process within agreed timescales whilst displaying excellent technical expertise and commercial awareness.
Ensure the design process meets current legislation and strive to eliminate health & safety risks during the construction.
