Design Manager Contractor

Design Manager - Construction ContractorWe're looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a growing team delivering Commercial & Construction contracts across the Merseyside region

Based in Liverpool, this is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle - from early-stage feasibility and planning, through to technical delivery and handover. You'll be working on a varied portfolio that includes Commercial Build, Refurbishments & Maintenance, across both public and private sectors

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the design process from concept through to completion
• Coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design quality and compliance
• Managing planning applications, technical detailing, and value engineering
• Supporting client and stakeholder engagement, including presentations and visualisations

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience in a Design Manager or similar role within construction, fit-out, or property development
• Strong working knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
• A good eye for detail and a passion for delivering well-designed, commercially viable space
• A qualified professional, with extensive experience within a Design Management role, for a Main Contractor
