Are you a Design Manager from a Mechanical background, looking for a new role within the Datacentre or Fire Protection industry, for a company who are rapidly expanding and investing in the business and their team, going from strength-to-strength?

Do you want to be a key member of a highly skilled team of 8 designers, for a company that offers ongoing progression routes and the chance to put your stamp on the department?

This company provides design, maintenance and servicing for fire and security systems across the UK, working with large blue-chip clients in data centres, as well as commercial and government establishments such as hospitals and schools.

In this role, a successful Design Manager will work closely with the Project Director to help develop and support the design team. You will be responsible for a team of around six to eight designers whilst liaising across the business and with clients throughout the project.

This role would suit a Design Manager from Data centres, Fire Protection or a similar mechanical industry that is confident liaising with both clients and directors internally to ensure the smooth running of projects.

The Role:

Lead and develop the design team (8 members)
Robust drawing checking and approval procedures
Work closely with Project Directors and clients throughout
Lead design reviews and meetingsThe Person:

Proven experience in a Design Manager or similar senior role
Mechanical Design background or similar
