Design Manager Refurb and Cladding Remediation

We are working with the London-based team of a National contractor supporting their search for a Design Manager, you'll be working on public sector framework projects covering externals and internals. Projects will include Recladding circa £20M focusing on London, in addition to Fit Out of Offices and NHS facilities nationally (£1m-£7M). You will support them in managing and delivering design solutions from precon through delivery to hand over.
You will:
* Manage and coordinate the pre-construction and construction phase design process* Liaise with clients, colleagues and consultants, leading design meetings* Coordinate with the specialist supply chain (fire engineers, thermal consultants, structural teams, etc.)* Ensure compliance with health and safety and sustainability standards* Contribute to the preparation of BSR Gateway 2 documentation, including methodology, scope, and competence statements when required.* Oversee design risk management and documentation* Support project teams with design-related issues
You will have:* Relevant Construction qualifications (Architectural/Engineer etc).* Experience working in Design Coordination or Design Management from precon (early RIBA stages) through delivery in a project-focused role.
