About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology (Product Design) lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.


• Develop and implement lesson plans covering design principles, manufacturing processes, and material science.


• Facilitate student-led design projects and prototyping.


• Assess student progress through design portfolios, practical assessments, and written reports.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the product design curriculum.


• Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as design clubs and competitions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Design Technology (Product Design) or a related field.


• Extensive experience teaching product design at the secondary level.


• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing techniques.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
