We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative Design Technology Teacher to join a highly regarded Independent School in Colchester from January. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach DT across KS3–KS5 within a department that places strong emphasis on creativity, technical precision and student-led design.

The successful candidate will inspire pupils through practical projects, contribute to the continued development of the DT curriculum and support enrichment opportunities such as clubs, competitions and exhibitions.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Design Technology, Engineering, Product Design or similar

• PGCE / QTS

• Experience teaching DT at KS3–KS4 (KS5 advantageous)

• Commitment to inspiring creativity, innovation and problem-solving
