About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Design Technology Teacher

The Design Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons on product design, engineering, textiles, and resistant materials. The Design Technology Teacher will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the curriculum and introduce new and innovative teaching methods, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the modern world of design and engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to offer support and guidance to students during practical lessons, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to create high-quality products.

Requirements

To apply, you should have:

• A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.


• A PGCE or equivalent qualification with QTS.

• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage classroom activities effectively.
