About the Role:

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Design Technology lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).


• Foster a love of design and problem-solving in students, encouraging creativity and experimentation.


• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their design and practical skills effectively (planning, construction, using a variety of materials and tools).


• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in design education.


• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment in the workshop.
