Our client, a long-established and highly respected high street supplier, is seeking a Ladieswear Designer to join their growing team. Based in central London, this role focuses primarily on ladies outerwear. The company offers excellent training, a friendly and supportive studio environment, a clear progression path, and operates on a hybrid basis with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design and develop ladies outerwear ranges
• 
  Create accurate CADs for buyer presentations and internal use
• 
  Prepare detailed tech packs to support sample development
• 
  Maintain up-to-date sample trackers and organise fabric and trim libraries
• 
  Liaise with buying teams to develop strong working relationships
• 
  Communicate effectively with internal merchandising teams in Shanghai
• 
  Conduct regular shop reports and update trend packs seasonally
• 
  Participate in trend research, inspirational shopping trips, and fabric sourcing
• 
  Keep internal systems such as OneDrive organised with current design documentation

Person Specification:

• 
  Previous experience in ladies outerwear design
• 
  Strong CAD skills, with proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop essential
• 
  Familiarity with CLO 3D, InDesign, and Excel would be a plus
• 
  Excellent communication and presentation skills
• 
  Commercially focused with a strong sense of trend awareness and team collaboration
