As a Designer - Mid Level - Active, you'll play a key role in creating innovative and on-trend designs for the fashion department within the retail industry. Based in Chesterfield this role focuses on delivering creative solutions that align with the brand's vision and customer expectations.

Description

* Support the Senior Designer in creating apparel collections from concept to completion.

* Mentor and support Junior Designers.

* Creation of detailed design packs and other materials to aid in smooth handover to the Development Team.

* Attend fittings with the Senior Designer and collaborate closely with the Development Team to ensure design integrity from initial concept through to finished product.

* Maintain key documents such as collection overviews, performance reviews and sourcing packs in coordination with the Junior Designer.

* Work with the Senior Designers to ensure the global calendar is followed & deadlines are met.

* Assist Senior Designer in presenting seasonal collections to the Sales team.

Profile

A successful Designer - Mid Level - Active should have:

Proven experience in fashion design, particularly in activewear.
A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
Knowledge of current trends within the retail and fashion industry.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Offer
