Desktop Analyst

1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst

We are looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst to join a small IT support team within the financial services industry. You will provide day-to-day technical support to users, resolving hardware, software and access issues.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users
Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
Manage user accounts, passwords and permissions
Set up laptops, desktops and mobile devices
Log and manage incidents through the ticketing system
Escalate more complex issues where requiredTechnologies

Microsoft 365
Active Directory
Entra ID / Azure AD
Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Teams and Outlook
Basic networking, VPN and connectivity
Laptop and desktop hardwareRequirements

1 year experience in a 1st Line, Service Desk or Desktop Support role
Good understanding of the Microsoft technology stack
Basic Active Directory and user administration experience
Confident troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365 issues
Good communication and customer service skills
Keen to develop into a stronger 2nd Line Support positionLogistics
