Job Description - Desktop Support Engineer

Company Description
Deepscale Technologies LTD is a global provider of data center, enterprise, and managed IT solutions that enhance business operations.
One of our client in Scotland is looking for some desktop support engineers for below sow in Scotland for dispatch project on below locations,
Aberdeen
Inverness
Elgin
Dundee
Perth
Oban
Fort Augustus
Portree
Gairloch
Wick

Scope of Work:
The Contractor agrees to perform the following services as outlined in the provided scope of work:

- Upon receipt of a service ticket, the Field Engineer (FE) is required to arrive on site within a maximum time frame of four hours.
- The nature of the service activity pertains to Break-Fix procedures, involving the troubleshooting and resolution of identified faults within the designated store.
- The primary objective during the troubleshooting process is to meticulously identify and document the faults present within the IT/Network infrastructure and associated cabling systems.
- Subsequent to fault identification, the FE is mandated to compile a comprehensive assessment report detailing the IT/Network components and cables requiring remedial action, along with specifying any height-related requirements for the repair tasks.
- - An integral aspect of the assessment involves determining whether the forthcoming site visit necessitates the utilization of lifting equipment to access elevated components or areas.
- Following the assessment, the FE must ascertain the feasibility of executing on-site repairs. If the identified faults can be rectified promptly and effectively during the initial visit, the FE will proceed with the necessary corrective measures. However, if the complexity or scope of the faults exceeds the capacity for immediate resolution, the FE may be required to reschedule the service ticket accordingly.

Qualifications
Experience in desktop support and troubleshooting
Knowledge of computer hardware
Ability to provide technical support for printers
Strong problem-solving skills

Relevant certifications and experience with network support and maintenance would be beneficial for this role.
