Despatch Operative
Location: Bilsthorpe, near Newark
Pay: £14.25–£15.00 per hour
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm–8:00pm (flexible start/finish times for the right candidate)
We are looking for a reliable Despatch Operative to join our busy team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining accurate records.
* Using Sage to print dispatch tickets.
* Sorting packed stock by customer and depot.
* Managing stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
* Operating an electric PPT (full training provided).
* Liaising with drivers to ensure safe working practices are followed.
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is desirable.
* FLT licence/experience is preferred but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Own transport is essential due to the location.
