Despatch Packer

A prestigious Aerospace company based in Verwood is looking for a Despatch Packer to join the team. This is an full time position based on the shop floor of a very busy Engineering Company.

Responsibilities of the Despatch Packer:

* Pack and prepare components for safe and accurate shipment to customers and subcontractors

* Arrange and support the shipping process to meet delivery deadlines

* Carry out part marking for traceability using a variety of methods, including ink, vibro, and dot peen

* Ensure all part marking is completed accurately and to specification to avoid errors or scrap

* Assist in recording, organising, and maintaining stock within the department

* Monitor and maintain consumable stock levels

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area

* Support other departments as required based on business priorities

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work accurately and methodically

* Adapt and react appropriately to ever changing business priorities

* Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills

Despatch Packer

Hours: Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 4:30pm and Fri 7:30am to 12:30pm

Salary £13 per hour
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
