Despatch Specialist - Stourton Dairy, Leeds

You’ll join a highly collaborative logistics and planning team where your SAP expertise and skills in data analytics will directly support our operators on the shop floor and strengthen our stock accuracy and system performance. It’s a role with real influence and opportunities to shape how we work.

How you will make an impact

As our new Despatch Specialist, you will act as the SAP superuser for Warehouse operations, supporting both day‑to‑day performance and long‑term improvements across the department. You’ll play a crucial part in waste reduction, cost prevention and ensuring robust traceability and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading SAP PS1/EWM issue resolution and improvements while supporting operators with training and guidance.


• Managing claims, wastage and ad hoc financial issues, while working closely with logistics and central teams to prevent unnecessary costs.


• Coordinating with logistics and production teams to maintain clean system data, accurate stock levels and effective warehouse flows.


• Building basic reports and using data insights to drive performance improvements and support delivery of the local business plan.


• Using data analytics to identify continuous opportunities and working with the logistics team to bring the idea’s to life.

The role sits within our Dairy End2End organisation and reports to the Logistics Manager – Dairy

What will make you successful

You will bring solid experience from a logistics, warehousing or supply chain environment, alongside a passion for systems, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in SAP, PS1 and EWM who is keen to continue developing their system expertise. You will be confident using Excel, Word and PowerPoint and able to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.

A strong analytical mindset is essential, as the role involves working with data that directly influences both cost and compliance. To succeed, you will bring excellent attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to develop both your own skills and those of others, helping to build SAP capability across the team. You should also feel comfortable interpreting data and turning insights into practical, measurable actions.
