Development Engineer

Professional Technical Recruitment have 6-month contract option for a Senior Development Engineer, working for a leading drug delivery manufacturer in the Cambridgeshire area. You will have the opportunity to work closely in the lab, working on the testing of prototypes, producing quality and new protocol documentation alongside vigorous risk management. Ideally we are seeking an individual with a background in the medical field and a high understanding of ISO regulations.
This opportunity is inside IR35 with a generous hourly rate and the opportunity for contract extension.
Job Profile :
Preparation of documents and devices for verification activities - execution, conclusion and reporting these
Managing external companies in the design, delivery and validation of test equipment
Supporting design activities by preparing, executing and recording development tests of prototype devices
Trouble-shooting and regular problem solving on devices and equipment
What we are looking for ?
Degree qualified in Science/Engineering based subjects
Experience in mechanical testing would be advantageous
Strong ability to follow procedures precisely and diligently
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Some experience in the pharmaceutical industry
3D CAD and ability to run statistical analyses
Experience with Microsoft Office (competence with Excel and Word)
