• Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities, consistently exceeding your targets.
• Focus on the needs of customers, offering a broad range of services and products with opportunities to upsell.
• Generate new business by identifying, building, nurturing and maintaining relationships with prospects including continued relationship management of clients resulting in year-on-year income generation against targets
• Attend trade-related events such as dinners, AGMs, trade shows, and expos, using your networking skills to identify and seize new opportunities.
• Negotiate effectively with underwriters and insurers to secure the most appropriate terms for clients.
• Represent Gallagher with professionalism and integrity, building trust and enhancing our reputation in the market. 

• Proven track record in business development and sales within the insurance industry, with experience delivering against targets in a regulated environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to independently generate leads and build pipelines.
• Strong focus on client needs, dedicated to providing the best possible service and outcomes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment, with a results-driven mindset
• Business acumen of sales management experience gained in a commercial setting
• Good knowledge of client market and insurance industry network Good knowledge of general insurance) products, services, and good understanding of underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk within own role capacity
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel as required.
