DevOps Engineer

Overview:

CodeClouds Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our software development processes and infrastructure. This is a dynamic and challenging role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and tools to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain software development processes, tools, and infrastructure to support the development team

- Work closely with development teams to ensure optimal application performance, scalability, and reliability

- Automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the development, testing, and deployment process

- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for the production environment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall system architecture, security, and performance

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for adoption as appropriate

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

- Strong understanding of CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Passion for learning new technologies and tools

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with serverless computing architectures

- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

- Understanding of Agile methodologies

- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like ELK stack, Grafana, or Prometheus
