JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Remote / London once a month

SALARY: £80,000 + 10% bonus

WAY OF WORKING: Remote / In office once a month

THE DEVOPS ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their expanding tech team. You'll take the lead in building and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure, while driving automation, managing Kubernetes clusters, and promoting infrastructure-as-code across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including multiple landing zones
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless application and infrastructure deployment
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts to support a microservices architecture
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform for consistent, version-controlled environments
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and performance through robust IAM and security controls
• Collaborate across teams to embed DevOps best practices and improve the software delivery lifecycle

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• 5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with deep expertise in Azure and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments and deploying with Helm
• Strong skills in Terraform, CI/CD automation, GitOps, and containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and using monitoring tools like Prometheus and Azure Monitor
• Proven track record managing Azure landing zones with enterprise governance and security controls
• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST) and Azure tools like Key Vault, RBAC, and Defender for Cloud
