DevOps Engineer

Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will manage the infrastructure and delivery systems crucial for our quants, traders, and developers. You'll design, automate, and optimize deployment workflows in a hybrid AWS and on-prem environment, directly impacting the firm's efficiency and security.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments.


• Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Infrastructure-as-Code.


• Automate configuration management and system provisioning using Packer and Ansible.


• Build and own CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software delivery.


• Develop and maintain automation tooling and scripts, preferably in Python or Go.


• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Helm.


• Run and improve our GitOps delivery model using tools like ArgoCD and Atlantis.


• Manage and optimize OpenSearch clusters.


• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems for security, performance, and reliability.


• Collaborate with developers to enhance tooling and streamline deployments.


• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across the stack.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in architecting and managing scalable infrastructure on AWS.


• Strong networking fundamentals and experience diagnosing complex network issues.


• Solid experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.


• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Go.


• Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
