Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician/Mechanic within a well-respected family-run garage, located in Ilkeston.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Basic salary up to £43,000 depending on experience, with potential to increase for senior technicians or MOT testers
OTE earnings of up to £44,000 including bonuses
Four paid training days per year, along with funded MOT qualification training if required

Working hours Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8:00am – 12:30pm
Overtime available to increase earningsDuties:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
MOT Testing
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements:

A Fully Qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
A Current and Valid UK Driving License
Dedicated and committed approach.

Confident working on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs)
Proven experience as a Master Technician or senior technician supporting team developmentThe salary of this role is up to £43,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm whilst working 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am – 12:30pm.
